BUYER GUIDE / FIRE DOORS

Put the requirement
before the configuration.

A checklist for discussing your project with the supplier and the responsible project team.

Review the complete door assembly.

AT A GLANCE

Review the complete door assembly.

Leaf, frame, glazing, seals and hardware must be reviewed against the required project documentation.

Discuss this requirement ↗

Project and approval requirements

Provide the country, building use, project specification and required standard or rating. Include any reviewer’s documentation checklist. If the requirement is not yet established, ask your project designer or responsible approval team to define it.

Door assembly information

List each opening reference, dimensions, single- or double-leaf arrangement, wall type, frame requirements and intended hardware. Identify vision panels, access control, closers, panic hardware and smoke-control requirements where specified.

Model and evidence review

Request the offered model reference and the scope of its supporting documentation. The supplier should review whether your proposed dimensions, leaf arrangement, glazing and hardware fit that scope before confirming the quotation. A product photograph is not certification evidence.

Commercial and delivery scope

Clarify quantities, packing labels, required delivery date and which components are included. Identify who is responsible for installation and the project’s approval review.

How ZHONGKAI handles documentation
